Bet Yeladim offers a variety of programs for children to grow and learn, including:
Infant/Toddler Care
Bet Yeladim will provide a top quality Infant/Toddler Care program with the highest standards possible. Join our Bet Yeladim family early this summer for the 2008/2009 school year.
Register for the program or contact us if you have additional questions or need more information.
Parent/Child Classes
Our twelve-month-olds, along with a parent, experience school for the first time in a thrilling, age-appropriate way. This class also offers a wonderful opportunity for our parents to become acquainted with each other and Bet Yeladim.
In addition, an eighteen-month-old parent/child class is available.
Two Year Old Program
The twos grow to enjoy stimulating companionship while they learn to observe and make choices in the multi-sensory world of the classroom.
Three Year Old Program
A sense of community evolves in the threes as the children become more comfortable in a child-centered group setting. They experience an atmosphere and materials that encourage their expression of ideas and feelings and promote an awareness of both their senses and the attributes of the physical world.
Four Year Old Program
Our four-year-olds enjoy the "Letter People" program, which is based on letter-sound connections. It also promotes the integration of all curriculum areas. The fours enjoy guided discovery activities that promote learning, building on the complexity of information, independence, and the love of learning.
Kindergarten
The full-day Kindergarten is an integrated and interdisciplinary program that does include the individualized and interactive "Breakthrough to Literacy" early-reading program. The students are guided to become self-reliant learners as they grow to use their senses, creativity, and curiosity to analyze and construct a broad base of experiences and knowledge.
We are really excited to offer our special enrichment programs to your children. There are some new selections and some "oldies but goodies," too. Register for these programs and join the fun!
Echoes of Nature
Children will participate in nature-related themes through related stories, activities, and crafts. Observing and touching live animals will be part of this science program.
Jump Bunch
Children participating in sports/fitness activities will develop hand-eye coordination, large and fine motor skills, muscle development, and body balance.
Music N' Motion
Children are engaged in this highly interactive program through songs, creative movement, and use of musical instruments.
Petite Artistes
Children will experience art through a multi-sensory approach. Artists will be explored through song, movement, literature, poetry, and various art media. A gallery showing will feature the works of the Petite Artistes at the conclusion of the session.
SocceRoos
Professional coaches will teach soccer and coordination skills as the children learn the basic fundamentals of soccer through games and play.
Story Stretchers
Children will experience favorite literature through creative storytelling, cooking, and art with our very own Miss Marcie Cissell and Miss Meryl Robinson.
Yoga
Children will learn yoga postures in a fun and playful way. By participating in Yoga, the children will strengthen their body, increase flexibility, and increase their self-esteem and self-awareness.
Watch for news about additional super enrichment programs offered to your children throughout the school year. Stayed tuned for more information about such programs as science, drama, Story Stretchers, Hebrew, and SocceRoos.
