Bet Yeladim is a not-for-profit Jewish Preschool located in Columbia, Maryland. The Part-day Program was established in 1975, the Full-day Program started in 1987. We welcome all children regardless of race, color, religion, national and/or ethnic origin, sex or disability.

Bet Yeladim offers developmentally appropriate programs for children. The school provides the physical and mental stimulation and social contact needed by young children within the framework of a Jewish environment. Within this context, Jewish traditions and values are incorporated into all curriculum areas so children will understand that Jewish ideals transcend all areas of everyday life.

Our Curriculum:
Bet Yeladim programs provide the opportunities for children to expand their curiosity and discover new challenges. Our curriculum encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process which balances child-initiated and teacher-initiated activities, as well as active-quiet and indoor-outdoor activities. Each classroom is designed with learning centers allowing children to choose from and participate in many different activities, such as building, drawing, and dramatic play.
