L'Dor Va'Dor Service - Saturday,  Oct. 6th and Nov. 3rd at 10:00am. An intergenerational service led by the Rabbi and 
Hebrew school students. 

B'Yachad Service- Saturday, Sept. 15th at 10:00am. Join us Shabbat morning for the joy of worship and communal prayer. The community shares the responsibility and gift of praying together. 

CJC Hebrew School– 
Offering classes for Pre-K through post b'nai mitzvah. Age-appropriate content 
includes holidays, prayers, folk tales, 
music, Jewish values, Hebrew, the Bible, history, and more. Contact the CJC office for more info. Non-member families are welcome.

CJC Middle & High School Youth Group - Year round activities include movie nights, skating, cultural events, community service, and more. Visit the website or contact the CJC office for

CJC Adult Education - Offering adult education classes throughout the year 
for members and non-members. Visit the CJC website for details. 

CJC Empty Nesters meet at monthly events planned by group members on a rotating basis. Past outings have included lunch and a play at Theater J in DC, a winery visit, a day at the races, and a trip to the University of Maryland Performing Arts Center for their Grand Piano Party.

Sukkot – Sept. 28th Tot Sukkot service at 6:30pm; regular service at 8:00pm 
Sukkot Party/Bon Voyage to Rabbi Starr - Sunday, Sept. 30th, 12:30 pm  at the Oakland Mills Meeting House. All are welcome! There will be a moonbounce, food sold and plenty of friends wishing Rabbi Starr and her family well as she leaves for a 9-month sabbatical in Israel. Rabbi James Greene will replace Rabbi Starr in her absence.
